Steam & Oak Anvil 2 — Full Spectrum Infrared Sauna for Three to Four
✓ Full-spectrum infrared — near, mid and far ✓ Indoor cabin ✓ Seats three comfortably, four at a squeeze ✓ 12 months 0% finance ✓ Real UK support on WhatsApp
An anvil is the thing in the workshop that takes all the heat and never flinches. The Anvil 2 is the one most households actually want: the same full-spectrum infrared as the Anvil 1, with the bench space to make it a shared thing rather than a solo one. It comfortably seats three, four at a squeeze — we would rather say that plainly than sell you a four-seater that seats four only in a photograph.
Full spectrum, not just far infrared
Plenty of cabins use far-infrared panels only. The Anvil range combines near, mid and far infrared. No hype, just the physics: far penetrates deepest and is the most-studied; near and mid work closer to the skin.
Anvil, and how it differs from Kajo
Our Kajo range is where most people start with infrared: compact hemlock cabins, plainly specified, at the entry end of the market. Anvil is the tier above. Bigger cabins, a heavier specification, and — at the top of the range — a proper sauna heater rather than panels alone. Same company, same straight talking, same phone number. Just more sauna.
Where it sits in the Anvil range
The Anvil range runs on one simple idea: the further up it you go, the closer you get to a traditional sauna.
- Anvil 1 — full-spectrum infrared for two.
- Anvil 2 — the same full-spectrum heat, with room for four.
- Anvil 3 — full-spectrum infrared and a 4.5 kW electric sauna heater. Two ways to heat, in one cabin.
Why people choose the Anvil 2
- Full-spectrum heat — near, mid and far, not far infrared alone.
- Room to share a session without stepping up to a traditional sauna.
- Indoor — spare room, garage gym, garden office. No flue, no plumbing, no groundworks.
- The middle of the Anvil ladder — more cabin than the Anvil 1, without the Anvil 3's sauna heater.

Frequently asked questions
How many people does the Anvil 2 seat?
It comfortably seats three, and four at a squeeze. If four of you will be using it regularly rather than occasionally, talk to us before you order.
What does “full spectrum” mean?
Near, mid and far infrared wavelengths in one cabin. Far penetrates deepest and is the most-studied; near and mid work closer to the skin. Many cabins use far infrared only.
What are the dimensions?
The Anvil 2 is 160 × 120 × 190 cm (W × D × H). Measure your access route as well as the room — doorways, stair turns and loft hatches are what catch people out, not the floor space.
Can it go outside?
No. The Anvil 2 is an indoor cabin. For a garden sauna, look at our barrel range instead.
Do I need an electrician?
Get in touch before ordering and we will confirm the electrical requirement for this model against your supply. We would rather check it with you than have you guess.
How is it different from the Anvil 3?
The Anvil 2 is pure full-spectrum infrared. The Anvil 3 is a hybrid — it keeps the infrared and adds a 4.5 kW electric sauna heater, so it can also run as a traditional sauna up to 90°C. That is what the step up in price buys.
How is it different from the Kajo range?
Kajo is our entry infrared line — compact hemlock cabins, plainly specified. Anvil is the tier above: bigger cabins, heavier specification, and a hybrid option at the top of the range.
Is there a smell when it is new?
A faint “new cabin” smell on the first session or two is normal and airs out quickly — run it warm with the door open once and it is gone.
Can I spread the cost?
Yes — 12 months interest-free (0% APR) via Klarna or Shop Pay.
