Steam & Oak is a UK-based retailer focused on premium at-home wellness — saunas, hot tubs, cold plunge tubs, heat pumps, and the accessories that make the whole setup feel effortless. We’re building a simpler way to buy big-ticket wellness equipment: clear specs, honest delivery expectations, and straightforward support.

At-home wellness shouldn’t feel like a gamble. It should feel like a plan.

What we’re here to do

Most people don’t need “more wellness”. They need a routine they can actually repeat — and equipment that’s properly explained.

Our goal is simple: help you build a reliable at-home reset using heat, cold, and recovery — with products that are well-specified and guidance that doesn’t waste your time.

What we sell

We curate equipment and accessories across a few core categories:

Outdoor & indoor saunas (traditional and infrared, depending on model)
Hot tubs & hydrotherapy
Cold plunge tubs and recovery products
Heat pumps and efficiency upgrades (so running costs stay sane)
Accessories & consumables that support the setup (covers, steps, filters, water care, etc.)

Some items ship as small parcels, while large equipment ships via specialist freight — and we explain that upfront so there are no surprises.

How we choose products

We focus on three things:

1) Clear specs over hype
If a listing doesn’t tell you what you actually need to know (dimensions, power requirements, what’s included, what delivery looks like), it doesn’t make the cut.

2) Real-world delivery expectations
Hot tubs and saunas don’t arrive like a phone charger. We prioritise clarity around kerbside delivery vs positioning vs installation vs commissioning, so you can plan properly.

3) Support that doesn’t disappear after checkout
If you’re unsure what fits your space, your access route, or your power setup, we’ll point you in the right direction.

Delivery & installation, explained plainly

Large items are typically delivered by specialist freight. Standard delivery is often kerbside/pallet delivery, with optional upgrades (where available) such as positioning, installation, and commissioning.
