Most sauna heaters rely on slowly releasing heat stored in a heavy stone mass or metal element. A gas sauna works differently: heat from combustion reaches the sauna air, the stones, and the structure simultaneously, from the first minute. This is Direct Thermal Flow™—not a new physics, but a fundamentally different engineering configuration. The result is a sauna that feels warm and responsive within minutes, without the lag of stone warm-up. According to the FinSteam design, heat-up to sauna-ready takes under 20 minutes (typical); in contrast, traditional wood-fired stoves with large thermal mass can take 60–90 minutes before the air feels genuinely hot.
