Chill Tub Pro | Commercial-Grade Hot & Cold Therapy Plunge (3–40°C)

The Chill Tub Pro is the flagship of the Chill Tub range — a hot and cold therapy plunge engineered for professional environments and serious home use. Full temperature range from 3°C up to 40°C without ice, Aristech acrylic shell, circulation jets, chromotherapy LED lighting, and a Wi-Fi touchscreen control system. 220kg dry, 700L water capacity, designed to be used hard and used often.

It is the right model for gyms and recovery studios, training facilities running team cold sessions, short-let properties charging premium nightly rates, and home users who want both ends of the thermal protocol in one tub.

Hot and cold contrast therapy works on the same vascular response that drives the cold-only protocol — vasoconstriction in cold, vasodilation in heat — but compresses the full cycle into a single tub. The mechanism that makes the Pro distinctive at this size is the circulation jet system: a still cold tub develops a thin thermal boundary layer of slightly warmer water around the skin within 30 to 60 seconds, blunting the heat-extraction effect; jets actively disrupt that layer and keep the cold input consistent across the session. For commercial environments running back-to-back sessions, that consistency matters.

Temperature range and circulation system

Full temperature range from 3°C up to 40°C, controlled via the Wi-Fi touchscreen. The circulation pump and jet system actively disrupt the thermal boundary layer that forms around stationary skin in cold water, keeping the cold input consistent across a session rather than rolling off as the body equilibrates with the immediate surrounding water. For multi-user commercial use, that translates to a more predictable session experience across consecutive bookings.

Build and materials

The Pro uses Aristech acrylic for the inner shell — a premium specification typically associated with hot tub manufacture, chosen here for chemical resistance against ozone water treatment, dimensional stability across the full 3–40°C range, and a finish that holds up to high-frequency commercial use. External dimensions 1100 × 1350 × 2160 × 800mm; 220kg dry weight, 700L water capacity. Designed for indoor or outdoor placement — confirm floor loading at the placement site.

Water care, lighting and controls

Ozone with built-in filtration cycle handles ongoing water hygiene, important for a tub running multiple sessions per day. Chromotherapy LED lighting offers selectable colour modes for atmosphere — useful in a commercial spa or studio environment where session presentation matters as much as raw performance. The Wi-Fi touchscreen control system handles temperature, timer, and system status from the tub or from a phone, and the hose-pipe drain connection makes scheduled water changes practical.

Delivery & site preparation

  • Standard delivery: Free standard delivery is included.
  • Delivery type: Cold tub deliveries are usually specialist freight or booked delivery because of size and weight.
  • Floor loading: When filled, a cold tub is significantly heavier than its dry weight — confirm that the placement surface (patio, deck, gym floor) can support the loaded weight before delivery.
  • Power: This model runs from a UK 13A 3-pin socket. Confirm the supply is in the correct position before delivery. At 220kg dry and 700L water capacity, fully loaded weight approaches 920kg — confirm floor loading at the placement site (commercial environments may require a structural assessment).
  • Drainage: Cold tubs drain via hose pipe connection; site near a suitable drain point or an open garden where drained water can run off without nuisance.
  • Setup & commissioning: Setup and commissioning is not included unless clearly stated on the product page. Check access (doorways, gates, turning areas) before ordering.
