The Chill Tub Obsidian Limited Edition takes the same chiller, build platform, and serious-recovery credentials as the Original and adds the one thing most cold plunges forget: atmosphere. Subtle under-tub LED lighting and a circular LED logo glow turn cold therapy into a deliberate evening ritual rather than a functional dip in cold water.

It is the model to choose if the tub will live somewhere it is going to be seen — a design-led home gym, a boutique studio, a high-end short-let property — and presentation matters as much as performance.

Performance is unchanged from the Original: 304 stainless steel interior, aluminium cabinet, integrated chiller down to 3°C, ozone water care, 13A plug-and-play. The Obsidian is a finish and lighting upgrade on a proven platform, not a rebuild — which is the right way to make a limited-edition variant that still works as a serious recovery tool.

Chiller performance and water care

The integrated chiller runs the tub down to 3°C from a 13A socket with no ice required. Ozone water treatment paired with cartridge filtration handles the ongoing hygiene work, and an anti-freeze function helps prevent ice or frost formation on the chiller hardware during cold-weather outdoor placement. Same drain via hose pipe connection, same routine maintenance pattern as the Original.

LED lighting and atmosphere

Under-tub LED lighting projects a soft glow at the base of the cabin, and a circular LED logo on the front carries a subtle product-mark light. Neither feature is decorative noise: the under-tub light makes early-morning sessions practical without overhead lighting, and the logo glow gives the tub presence as an installation object during evening use. The combination shifts the tub from "kit" to "fixture".

Build, ownership and limited-edition status

Build is the same serious standard as the Original: 304 stainless interior, aluminium cabinet, ships with a free insulated cover, designed for indoor or outdoor placement. The Limited Edition designation is genuine — this is a one-time production run rather than an open SKU. When stock is gone, the Obsidian variant is gone with it.
